Welcome to
NoCode Journal!

NoCode Journal is a digital magazine about the no-code movement. Founded in 2023, we cover the tools, platforms and techniques that let people build websites, apps, automations and internal tools without writing code. Whether you're a solo founder validating an idea, a designer shipping a site in Webflow or Framer, an operations lead automating workflows with Zapier or Make, or a developer curious about where visual development fits, NoCode Journal has something for you.

NoCode Journal is owned and operated by DSHG Sonic. Read how that affects our coverage in our editorial and affiliate disclosure.

Our mission is to make no-code approachable and practical. We publish hands-on tutorials, honest tool reviews and side-by-side platform comparisons so you can choose the right stack, avoid common pitfalls and get your project live faster. We believe anyone with a clear problem to solve should be able to build the solution, and we write every guide with that builder in mind, from complete beginners to experienced makers pushing visual tools to their limits.

NoCode Journal Team

Our Story

NoCode Journal grew out of a simple observation: the number of no-code tools was exploding, but clear, unbiased guidance on how to use them was hard to find. Product pages promised everything, and tutorials were often outdated or tied to a single vendor. We set out to build the resource we wished we had, a place that explains what each platform does well, where it falls short, and how to put it to work on real projects.

What began as a handful of tool walkthroughs has grown into a library covering website builders, app builders, workflow automation, databases and backends, and the integrations that tie them together. Every guide is written to be followed step by step, so you can go from a blank workspace to a working product without guesswork. Along the way, we've built a readership of people who build with no-code tools, from solo founders to larger teams.

As the no-code ecosystem has evolved, so has NoCode Journal. We now cover AI-powered builders and agents, low-code extensions for when visual tools hit their limits, and the practical questions that come with growth: pricing, vendor lock-in, performance, security and migrating between platforms. Through every new launch and shift in the market, our core mission has remained constant: to help builders pick the right tools and ship with confidence.
